About Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center

Located at 1905-B, 1905 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615, Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center operates as a tennis court serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 am–9:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 996-4129. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, raleighnc.gov.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 154 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded tennis courts in Raleigh.

Great facility. Was there for a wheelchair tennis tournament. Courts are in great shape, and very well kept. Not exactly ideal for sport chairs, as far getting around goes, but they were built long before it was much of a consideration, and they've been retrofitted for accessibility to a decent extent. Great space with shade for players between matches. πŸ‘πŸŽΎ

Came in from out of state for a tournament. This is a top-notch facility as I’ve been to many around the country. And at the front desk was so accommodating and informative. The courts are well-maintained. The nets are beautiful, there is plenty of parking and the facility was nestled amongst a beautiful groove of trees. It doesn’t get much better than this. I found it extremely convenient for a tournament because it was nearby the grocery and several restaurants so we could run for a quick lunch between matches. Downside: Court 16 & 17 have some dead spots.

I’ve been taking lessons here for the past 2 years and it’s been amazing! I can definitely see improvements in my game, thanks to the amazing coaches. The courts are always clean and taken care of. 10/10 recommend if you need lessons or just a place to play!

One of our new favorite facilities! Located inside the Millbrook Exchange Park, it has 21 courts, which were recently refurbished. The center has long office hours (till 9:30pm during the week, which is great if you want to hire a ball machine - $6 for half an hour), and to top it all off, the courts are all lit till 10:30pm (which is perfect for my husband and l, who lately never seem to make it there till 9:45pm). The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the group tennis lessons (which our 14 year old is attending), are very reasonably priced and well paced. If you want to reserve a court it is only $5, but generally speaking you can walk in and get one. They also make sure to keep a few courts free for casual players, even during times when they are running tournaments. My only regret is that we didn't discover them sooner! Update: my entire family is now taking lessons there twice a week - in the 12-18 group, and over 18. Class sizes are limited to 8, but often are smaller. My youngest is on his second round of classes, and loves it, and the rest of us are enjoying ourselves too. Cost for the class is very reasonable and yet one more reason why we appreciate this facilit

We were members of RRC but had too many bad experiences with the membership coordinator to make it enjoyable. The Millbrook tennis center has an abundance of well maintained hard courts and offers rental of two ball machines. Online reservations are a snap, too. The staff are very helpful and accommodating and always greet you with a smile.
